Professor Goldberg

Max earned his blue belt under Royce Gracie in 1998 at 150lbs. Under Greg Holmes he competed in numerous tournaments, including 1st place at the National Gracie Tournament in Torrance, Ca. He then continued to train under Professor Holmes with the Machado Brothers. In 2000 he found his way to Gracie Barra, training under the Legendary Eduardo De Lima. Training for 10 years directly under Professor De Lima in Clearwater, FL, he continued to compete locally and nationally including the Pan American Games as a blue, purple, and brown belt. His training also included 1 year under the phenomenal Jay Valko, located in downtown Chicago.
